20 Foot Shipping Containers in Mackay
The workhorse of the Mackay hire fleet and the size most buyers end up with. A 20ft swallows a household, a trade kit or a crib-room fit-out, and it rides on a standard tilt-tray, which keeps delivery straightforward.

Hire runs from $27 a week, which is how most builds, shutdowns and short contracts get their lockup. Buying, a cargo-worthy used unit starts around $2,200 and a new single-trip unit from $3,300 — the better path once the job has no end date.
Guide prices only. The figure you are quoted depends on the delivery address and the stock on hand when you ring — (07) 4944 2211 gets you the actual number.
Grades: Buying as-is means taking the box as seen, and it is not sold watertight. Only our cargo-worthy and new grades carry the watertight standard.
20ft questions
Can I hire a 20ft rather than buy one?
Yes. 20ft hire starts from $27 a week, and if the job runs longer than planned we can price a buy-out on the unit already on site.
What will a 20ft cost me delivered?
To buy, guide prices start at $2,200 used and $3,300 new. The delivered figure depends on the address, because a drop in Paget and a run to Clermont are very different trips. Call (07) 4944 2211 for one price with GST included.
Can I see the actual container first?
Yes. Ask for photos of your unit with the serial number in shot before delivery, or arrange to look it over in the yard.
How is the delivery date worked out?
By three things: what stock is in the yard, where the truck is running, and — through the wet — whether your ground will take a loaded trailer. We give you a window once the order is booked.
Is a 20ft safe through cyclone season?
Sited properly it handles the weather better than most sheds: up on blocks at the high point of the block, doors away from the prevailing weather, and tied down if it is light. Cargo-worthy and new grades are watertight against rain from above. They are not sealed against rising water, so height is what protects the contents.
