A 10ft usually costs more than a 20ft, and it surprises people every time. Nobody ships cargo in them: each one is cut down from a longer unit and re-framed by a fabricator, and that labour is in the price. If a 20ft physically fits, it is the cheaper and roomier choice.
Guide prices only. The figure you are quoted depends on the delivery address and the stock on hand when you ring — (07) 4944 2211 gets you the actual number.
Grades: Buying as-is means taking the box as seen, and it is not sold watertight. Only our cargo-worthy and new grades carry the watertight standard.
10ft questions
Can I hire a 10ft rather than buy one?
Ask us. Hire on this size depends on what is in the yard, so the rate is quoted on the call, and a buy-out can be priced later if you decide to keep it.
What will a 10ft cost me delivered?
To buy, guide prices start at $4,350 used and $6,400 new. The delivered figure depends on the address, because a drop in Paget and a run to Clermont are very different trips. Call (07) 4944 2211 for one price with GST included.
Can I see the actual container first?
Yes. Ask for photos of your unit with the serial number in shot before delivery, or arrange to look it over in the yard.
How is the delivery date worked out?
By three things: what stock is in the yard, where the truck is running, and — through the wet — whether your ground will take a loaded trailer. We give you a window once the order is booked.
Is a 10ft safe through cyclone season?
Sited properly it handles the weather better than most sheds: up on blocks at the high point of the block, doors away from the prevailing weather, and tied down if it is light. Cargo-worthy and new grades are watertight against rain from above. They are not sealed against rising water, so height is what protects the contents.
